Cienne Cruz, Djanel Cheng, Jonah Sabete return to Petro Gazz

The Petro Gazz Angels are welcoming back some of its former players.

In a social media post on Monday, the team announced that Cienne Cruz, Djanel Cheng, and Jonah Sabete will rejoin the team.

"Reunited back and ready to work it out for our #Refueled2022 team roster," the caption read.

The move came days after nine core players parted ways with the team. 

Cruz, Cheng, and Sabate were part of the Petro Gazz squad that won the championship in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

Prior to their return, Cheng and Sabate were part of the Sta. Lucia Realtors.

The three will join Petro Gazz' remaining players Grethcel Soltones, Myla Pablo, Rem Palma, Chie Saet, and Seth Rodriguez. — LA, GMA News
