Tickets for Vollyball Nations League Week 2 in the Philippines to go on sale starting April 18

Tickets for the Week 2 of the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL) that is set to be hosted by the Philippines in June will go on sale starting next month.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) on Friday said spectators can start purchasing their tickets starting on April 18 with the Araneta Coliseum expected to accommodate fans in full capacity due to less strict health and safety protocols.

“We anticipate the return of world-class volleyball action in the country and we’re confident that with pandemic waning, the fans will enjoy the matches,” PNVF president Ramon “Tats” Suzara said.

Tickets to the matches are pegged at P2,000 for Courtside seats, P1,500 for Patron A, P1,000 for Patron B, P500 for Lower Box, P200 for Upper Box, and P100 for General Admission.

Late last year, VNL, one of the prestigious volleyball tournaments in the world, announced that it is making a stop in the Philippines.

Week 2 of the top-level women's preliminary round will be played from June 14 to 19 and after a day’s break, Week 2 of the men's pool matches will take place from June 21 to 26.

The Philippines will host teams from the USA, China, Japan, Russia, Belgium, Poland, Thailand, and Canada for the women's category.

Squads from Japan, France, Russia, Slovenia, Argentina, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands, meanwhile, will see action in the men's category.
