F2 Logistics sweeps Chery Tiggo; Choco Mucho keeps Army winless

F2 Logistics remained unscathed after dispatching reigning titleholder Chery Tiggo in straight sets, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22, in the 2022 PVL Open Conference on Friday.

The Cargo Movers leaned once again on Kim Kianna Dy who carved out 11 points as F2 went 2-0 to lead Pool A, where Choco Mucho, who earlier defeated Army, is at second spot. Cignal HD came in third while Chery Tiggo and Army both remained winless at 0-2.

Aside from Dy, who led her side to a four-set victory last Wednesday, F2 Logistics got solid outings from Tin Tiamzon and veteran middle blocker Aby Maraño who each had 10 and 11 markers.

Meanwhile, Choco Mucho debuted in a rousing fashion after frustrating Black Mamba Army in straight sets, 25-13, 25-11, 25-23, behind Kat Tolentino's 11 points.

Ponggay Gaston proved effective on both ends of the floor, listing eight markers and nine digs while Caitlyn Viray and new recruit Desiree Cheng combined for 13 markers.

In Pool B, Creamline and Petro Gazz are ahead with an identical 1-0 card while Balipure and PLDT remained winless at 0-1.
