Tots Carlos hailed as 2022 PVL Open Conference MVP

Tots Carlos was hailed the 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Most Valuable Player as the strong-hitting opposite spiker proved instrumental in the impressive run of Creamline.

The former UP standout posted an average of 20.67 points before their ongoing best-of-thee final series with Petro Gazz to bag the top recognition given to her on Friday at the Ynares Center.

Carlos also copped the best opposite honors.

Cignal's Ces Molina and Grethcel Soltones of Petro Gazz were awarded the Best Outside Spikers while two other Cignal players in Rosely Doria and Ria Meneses were named Best Middle Blockers.

Cignal's Gel Cayuna won the Best Setter plum while veteran defensive specialist Dawn Macandili of F2 Logistics was awarded the Best Libero.

Creamline and Petro Gazz are duking it out for the title as of press time as the Cool Smashers hold a 1-0 advantage.
