PH women's volleyball team falls to Thailand in straight sets

The Philippine national women's volleyball team fell to powerhouse Thailand in a lopsided affair to register their first loss in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam.

The women's team absorbed a loss from the defending champs in straight sets, 25-15, 25-13, 25-14.

The team now has a win and a loss in their campaign after their win over Malaysia on Friday.

Earlier, the men's team lost to Cambodia in a tight four-setter.

The women's team will face Indonesia on May 17.
