John Vic de Guzman meets Ran Takahashi, Yuji Nishida, Yuki Ishikawa in Volleyball Nations League

Philippine men's volleyball team captain and NCAA analyst John Vic de Guzman met some stars of the Japanese national team during their stay in the Philippines for the Volleyball Nations League.

On Instagram, Monday, De Guzman posted photos and a video of him with Japan's Ran Takahashi, Yuji Nishida, and Yuki Ishikawa.

"Arigato Gozaimasu to Team Japan esp. to their power trio @ran.volleyball0902 @nishidayuji0130 @yuki_ishikawa_official for making the Filipino Volleyball fans extremely happy and being an inspiration for a lot to engage and try Men's Volleyball as their sport," De Guzman said.

Japan thanks Filipino fans

It seemed like the Japanese team had fun during their stay in the Philippines as locals flocked to the Smart Araneta Coliseum to watch their matches.

In their final game against Slovenia, the Japanese team even danced to "Otso Otso" in front of the home crowd.

Takahashi also took to Twitter his gratitude to the Filipino fans. Earlier in the tournament, he thanked them for making Araneta feel like a home court for Team Japan.
