F2 finally breaks through after 0-2 start; Creamline edges Petro Gazz


After a shaky start to the conference, F2 Logistics finally broke its slump,  sweeping United Auctioneers Inc. Army, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16, to barge into the win column of the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference on Tuesday.

The full-strength Cargo Movers side improved to a 1-2 card as resident import Lindsay Stalzer produced 24 points highlighted by 23 attacks while also collecting 10 receptions.

Kalei Mau and Kianna Dy each chipped in eight markers while newcoming middle blocker Ivy Lacsina chimed in with seven points to go along with five digs.

Meanwhile, Creamline turned back defending champion Petro Gazz with a 25-19, 16-25, 25-18, 27-25, to remain undefeated in the tournament and gain a share of lead at 2-0 with Chery Tiggo.

Yeliz Basa led the Cool Smashers with 28 points off 24 attacks, two blocks, and two service aces while team captain Alyssa Valdez registered 14 in the win.

With the loss, Petro Gazz dropped to an even 1-1 card.
