Dindin out, Ponggay in as Chery Tiggo makes changes ahead of 2023 season
The Chery Tiggo Crossovers made some changes in its roster ahead of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League season.
The team on Sunday announced that it has signed Ponggay Gaston, formerly from the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
Gaston will join the likes of Mylene Paat and Buding Duremdes in the upcoming season.
Gaston's signing came days after the Crossovers announced that Dindin Santiago-Manabat has parted ways with the team.
"We thank you for the passion and years you shared with us," the team wrote in its post.
In a social media post, Santiago-Manabat thanked Chery Tiggo for being her home for six years.
"I am so blessed to be part of this amazing team. Marami akong natutunan from management, coaches, teammates and experiences kasama kayo," Santiago-Manabat wrote in the caption.
"Sa mga naging coaches ko, teammates ko, maraming salamat sa samahan! It's been a fruitful and meaningful 6 years of rollercoaster ride with you guys! I am grateful and thankful! The journey is not yet over. See you around!"
