Tats Suzara reelected PNVF president, Cayetano named chairman emeritus

Ramon "Tats" Suzara has been reelected to a fresh two-year term as the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) president while senator Allan Peter Cayetano was named chairman emeritus of the volleyball body.

Also reelected were Richard “Ricky” Palou as vice president, Donaldo Caringal as secretary-general, Tuguegarao City councilor Charo Soriano as treasurer, and Yul Benosa as auditor.

Tonyboy Liao, Carmela Arcolas Gamboa, Rodrigo Roque, Fr. Victor “Vic” Calvo Jr., Sisinio Ariel Paredes, Karl Jeffrey Chan, and Michael Angelo “Miko” Vargas, meanwhile, make up the board.

Suzara assumed office in February 2021 after the international governing body, FIVB, ordered the creation of a new volleyball association.

“I would like to thank the PNVF board for their trust and confidence on me leading the federation. Rest assured, I will work toward making volleyball better and our national athletes stronger in the next two years,” said Suzara during the board meeting held on Tuesday at the The Vault in Taguig.
