Creamline, Petro Gazz notch wins in Batangas

As the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference headed to Batangas on Saturday, the Creamline Cool Smashers and Petro Gazz Angels notched wins to take their share of the lead in the standings.

Creamline swept the Cignal HD Spikers, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16, with Michele Gumabao posting 20 points, while Tots Carlos added 10 points.

The Cool Smashers improved to 2-0 while Cignal went down to 1-1. 

Petro Gazz sweeps Gerflor

The Angels, meanwhile, also made quick work of the Gerflor Defenders, 25-11, 25-4, 25-23. 

Marian Buitre and Nicole Tiamzon chipped in eight points apiece as the Angels also went up to 2-0, while Gerflor remained winless in two games.

Creamline, Petro Gazz, and Chery Tiggo all have two wins.

PVL action will be back on Tuesday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo with F2 going against Nxled, Farm Fresh facing PLDT, and Akari taking on Chery Tiggo.
