Choco Mucho sweeps Cignal to force do-or-die in PVL semis

The Choco Mucho Flying Titans forced a do-or-die in the 2023 PVL 2nd All-Filipino Conference semifinals after sweeping the Cignal HD Spikers, 25-23, 25-22, 25-22, on Saturday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Sisi Rondina powered the Flying Titans with 23 points from 20 attack and 2 blocks, while Kat Tolentino added 15 points to equalize the best-of-three series, 1-1.

Jovelyn Gonzaga paced Cignal with 13 points, while Ces Molina and Ria Meneses chipped in apiece.

Game 1 of the semis series went to Cignal, 18-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19, 15-10.

The rubber match will be played on Tuesday in the same venue.
