PVL: Choco Mucho outlasts fearless Farm Fresh to reclaim top spot

Choco Mucho rose from two sets down to survive a tough stand from Farm Fresh, 25-15, 24-26, 21-25, 25-21, 15-12, and reclaim the top spot in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday at PhilSports Arena.

Sisi Rondina was on target with 29 points anchored on 24 attacks, including the game-winning kill, and five blocks alongside 18 receptions as the Flying Titans improved to 9-2 ahead of the semifinals.

Veteran Honey Royse Tubino chipped in 16 markers while Isa Molde and Cherry Nunag posted 12 and 10 points apiece.

The loss spoiled a career night for Trisha Tubu after the lefty spiker's 32-point eruption built on 30 attacks and two rejections went for naught as the Foxies ended their campaign with a 3-8 card.

Kate Santos was also on point for the Jerry Yee-mentored club as she buried 21 points while middle blocker Rizza Cruz collected 12.

In the first game, Nxled hacked out a dominant 25-13, 25-23, 25-22 triumph against Capital1 behind the duo of Cams Victoria and Ivy Lacsina.

The 6-foot-1 middle blocker Victoria paced the Chameleons with a team-high 17 points anchored on 14 attacks and three blocks while Lacsina contributed 12 markers.
