Filipino fans receive items from VNL stars

As fans trooped to the Mall of Asia Arena for Manila's hosting of the Volleyball Nations League last week, not only were fans able to watch their favorite players, but they also had the chance to interact with them in the fan zone.

In the said area, fans had the chance to shake hands, take selfies, or ask for autographs from the players. Some also give gifts to the volleyball stars.

Some fans, however, were lucky enough to receive items from their favorite players.

Netherlands star Nimir Abdel-Aziz gave a young fan a pair of shoes after their final game in Manila.

Team USA's Kyle Dagostino also gave away signed shoes.

His teammate Micah Christenson, on the other hand, gave a signed jersey.

"I think a lot of us will remember this trip," Christenson said about their experience in Manila.

Taylor Averill was also overwhelmed with the love they have received from volleyball fans.

Men's volleyball stars will again come to the country in 2025 as the Philippines will host the FIVB Men's World Championship.
