Kurashiki notches back-to-back wins in PVL Invitationals

Kurashiki Ablaze won back-to-back matches in the 2024 PVL Invitational Conference.

The Japan-based squad swept the Farm Fresh Foxies, 25-13, 25-16, 25-16, on Thursday at the Philsports Arena for their second win in the short tourney.

Low Mei Cing led Kurashiki with 12 points anchored on seven attacks and four blocks, while Saya Taniguchi had 10 points.

Trisha Tubu led the Foxies with nine points, while former Kurashiki player Asaka Tamaru had eight points in the loss.

On Wednesday, Kurashiki defeated Thailand-based club Est Cola, 25-20, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

The Invitational Conference is participated by five teams only, with Creamline and Cignal completing the list of participants.
