ZUS Coffee sweeps Capital1 to snap three-game skid

ZUS Coffee arrested its three-game losing skid with a straight sets victory against Capital1, 31-29, 25-15, 25-15, Saturday in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

Chinnie Arroyo led the Thunderbelles with 15 points anchored on 13 attacks, while Mich Gamit and Glaudine Troncoso had 12 points apiece as ZUS Coffee improved to 3-4.

The win also came after the Thunderbelles' losses to Farm Fresh, Creamline, and Choco Mucho.

Jorelle Singh was the only double-digit scorer for the Solar Spikers with 10 points as Capital1 slipped to 1-5.

Earlier, Chery Tiggo defeated Farm Fresh, 21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.
