Creamline sets up PVL All-Filipino finals vs Petro Gazz

The Creamline Cool Smashers are returning again to the PVL finals, this time in the All-Filipino Conference after sweeping Choco Mucho in the semifinals, 25-19, 25-15, 25-15, on Thursday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

With the victory, the Cool Smashers set up another duel with the Petro Gazz Angels in the All-Filipino finals.

Kyle Negrito had 17 out of Creamline's 18 excellent sets with four players scoring in double digits for the Cool Smashers.

Bernadeth Pons had 14 points and 16 excellent receptions, while Tots Carlos added 13 points for Creamline. Alyssa Valdez had 11 points, while Pangs Panaga added 10 points as Creamline placed second in the semis standings with two wins and a loss.

Isa Molde had nine points, while Royse Tubino and Sisi Rondina had seven points apiece for the Flying Titans who went winless in the semis.

Akari and Choco Mucho will battle for the bronze medal.

The finals will commence on April 8.
