Alas Pilipinas Men beat Cambodia, get first win in SEA V.League Leg 2

The Alas Pilipinas Men defeated Cambodia, 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 25-18, to barge into the win column of the second league of this year's SEA V.League on Friday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The win came just two days after the Philippines fell short against the host country in Alas' campaign opener.  

In Set 4, the two teams were tied at 15 but the Philippines scored back-to-back to gain momentum. Cambodia then put a halt to Alas' streak but the latter held off the former as it made a 4-0 run after the Cambodians trailed 19-17. Cambodia answered back, but Alas eventually notched the win,

The Philippines will play Thailand next on Saturday.
