Results of JPEPA job matching for Pinoy nurses, caregivers out
MANILA, Philippines - The results of the second job matching for Filipino nurses and caregivers through the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA) have been released, says a report from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). The results may be accessed at the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (Jicwels) Web site, according to the POEA. Candidates who have been successfully matched still have to wait for a letter of consent indicating employment details from the accepting institution. While waiting for the employment contracts or letters of consent, all those successfully matched must be ready with the following required documents for visa application:
- Visa application form (can be downloaded from the Japanese Embassy Web site)
- Passport (valid for at least one year)
- Picture (1 pc 2 x 2 colored against white background)
- Birth certificate (authenticated by the National Statistics Office)
- Form 137 and Baptismal Certificate (for late registrants of birth certificate)
- Visa fee (1,400 pesos adjusted rate)
- Bio-data (English and Japanese â Jicwels to provide the Japanese version)
- Employment contract (one English and one Japanese)
