Spoons, umbrellas, hats not allowed inside Duterte's victory party venue

Supporters are already pouring into Crocodile Park in Talomo District, Davao City. Security is tight and GMA News' Ian Cruz shared photos of items being confiscated at the entrance.

Among the items not allowed inside are spoons, forks, water containers, hats, umbrellas, and backpacks.

Lighters and cigarettes were also confiscated, as smoking is prohibited in public areas in Davao.

Cruz additionally reports that people should expect a long walk towards Crocodile Park.

Dubbed "DU31: One Love, One Nation", the thanksgiving party is expected to draw a 100,000-strong crowd. Vice Ganda and Andrew E. are among the big acts performing, joined by Jimmy Bondoc, Gladys Guevarra, Carlos Agassi, Ivy Violan, Bernardo Bernardo, Mark Mabasa, Isabel Granada, KZ Tandingan, Bradley Holmes, Daniel Matsunaga, and Erich Gonzales, plus over 500 local acts from Mindanao. — AT, GMA News
