Local job search engine relaunched Sept. 1

An online applicant database and job-matching service catering exclusively to the top 1000 corporations in the Philippines, is ready to re-launch and offer bigger opportunities and better services to the Filipino job market. Fresh from its huge success in its beta (testing) mode last year, Top1000Jobs.com has continuously developed its system -- where applicants need only to file their resumes once to be considered for every high-caliber jobs posted by top corporations – and will be launched in production mode on September 1. “We have been in beta (testing) mode since August last year," said Top1000Jobs.com general manager Ma. Frances Deocadiz. “Feedback from our users, both employers and applicants, enabled us to fine-tune our job matching system and enhance our services even more." With the new release, Top1000Jobs will be “easier, faster, better" than ever before by strengthening its already powerful applicant search engine and streamlining its resume management services. An improved messaging system is also introduced to allow companies to instantly communicate their vacancies to hundreds of applicants in a few clicks. For companies, this translates to incredibly accurate searches, an extremely easy-to-use interface and instant cost-effective results. For applicants – more and more opportunities to maximize their true potential and expand their careers. On top of these existing offerings, the website – due to popular demand – has also expanded its service to allow companies to post as many job advertisements as they want in the website. “This unique dual system gives companies even more opportunities to find the right candidates and for applicants to find the job that they truly want," Deocadiz said. What’s more, all resumes that apply to jobs posted by companies will be permanently stored and can be accessed by companies at any time – in case they qualify for new openings. “For companies, it’s like having your own perpetual online applicant database – conveniently organized per job," added Deocadiz. Over the last year, thousands of people have posted their resumes in the Top1000Jobs.com, and most have quickly found jobs through their unique system. One of them, Jenevive Basco, an Engineering graduate of the New Era University related her experience: “I was employed before at other companies but I wasn’t that happy with my job. I looked in a newspaper and saw an advertisement about Top1000Jobs saying that it’s a free online recruitment service that only the top corporations can access; so I decided to register to see how Top1000Jobs can help me. The next day I received an e-mail, not just an ordinary e-mail, but an invitation for an interview by one of the Philippines’ Top Corporations. I said to myself, “Oh! It’s working and I was short-listed already." She eventually joined Empire East Holdings, being a company involved in the real estate industry, and was assigned as a member of the customer care staff – a position which required engineering graduates. - GMANews.TV
