Prayers, flowers for late nurse Renz Perez offered during motorcade

Attended by scores of relatives, friends, co-workers, and supporters, the motorcade in Manila was organized to demand justice for Renz.

A vehicle hit Renz biking home from work in a hospital on August 23, dragging him down to his death.

The vehicle's driver drove away leaving him on the road.

Four days later, the owner accompanied by a lawyer, turned up at a Manila Police District station, claiming that someone, whom they refused to identify, borrowed the vehicle and had been using it for weeks.

The vehicle's owner is now in police custody while an investigation is ongoing. —with a report from Danny Pata/LBG, GMA News
