11-year-old student survives after being dragged by truck in Batangas

An 11-year-old student was injured after being hit and dragged by a dump truck in Taysan, Batangas.

According to a 24 Oras report on Wednesday, CCTV footage showed the girl suddenly cross the road in a hurry and into the path of a dump truck from the opposite lane.

The child was struck by the truck and was dragged for over a meter before the vehicle stopped.

The victim apparently was trying to chase a jeepney where she left her phone.

The girl sustained scratches and injuries and was quickly rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
