Some parts of Quezon City to be waterless for 12 hours

MANILA, Philippines - Starting eight in the evening of Thursday, October 9, 2008 to eight in the morning of Friday, October 10, 2008, some parts of Quezon City will be waterless after the area’s water distributor will temporarily cut off service to upgrade its pipe network. The service improvement project involves the interconnection of a 300-mm bridge crossing to a booster pump along Assistance St. between General Ave. and Auditing St., Quezon City, Maynilad Water Services Inc. (MWSI) said in a statement. This will result in a water service interruption in GSIS Village, Paradise Village, Rivera Court and Spring Village, in Brgy. Sangandaan, QC.
