Fire razes Quezon City apartment

A fire of undetermined origin razed an apartment in Quezon City shortly before midnight Saturday.

The fire razed a three-story apartment at the corner of Malakas and Mapagmahal Streets in Pinyahan village, radio dzBB reported Sunday.

Volunteer firefighter group TXTFire indicated the fire started around 11:37 p.m.

It said the fire reached the fifth alarm before being placed under control at about 12:56 a.m. Sunday.

No one was initially reported hurt or killed in the incident.

Arson investigators are looking into what caused the fire. — LBG, GMA News
