Policewoman linked to 2005 summary execution in Mandaluyong falls
A policewoman linked to the summary execution of a suspected snatcher seven years ago was arrested in Mandaluyong City, dzBB's Glen Juego reported on Friday. PO1 Jocelyn Samson was still in police uniform when she was arrested near the Mandaluyong City Hall, the report said. Samson and at least two others were linked to the killing of Jonathan Diasanta, 19, in July 2005. Still at large are PO1 Francisco Castillo and Inspector Amor Cerillo. Investigation showed that Castillo caught Diasanta at EDSA Crossing in a snatching incident on July 22, 2005. Diasanta's mother Teresa, a street sweeper, claimed that Castillo sent an emissary to her and demanded P1,500 for her son's release. When no payment was made, the three allegedly brought Diasanta to Taytay and shot him in the head. - VVP, GMA News
