Man falls to death from old, abandoned BIR building in Manila

A man fell several stories to his death from the old, abandoned Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) building in Manila's Port Area district early on Monday.   The fall of the still-unidentified man surprised many vendors and early-morning commuters in the area, radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported. It was not immediately clear from which floor the man fell, the report said.   Security personnel at the old BIR building were also surprised, saying the building had been long abandoned and its electricity already cut off.   The report described the man who fell from the building as wearing a purple shirt and printed shorts. - VVP, GMA News
