With rehabilitation work on Sales Bridge in Pasay City starting Wednesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority advised motorists to take alternate routes.
The MMDA, in an advisory posted on its Twitter account Tuesday night, said Sales Bridge will be closed until June 10.
Earlier, the Department of Public Works and Highways said the closure to traffic was to start 1 p.m. of April 11, up to 10 p.m. of June 11.
The DPWH said the rehabilitation would include Sales Bridge eastbound along Sales Road, leading to areas of Fort Bonifacio and Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), and crossing South Luzon Expressway.
The MMDA said alternate routes that motorists may take include:

- From Makati: along EDSA, take Tramo, Roxas Blvd. or Macapagal Avenue to destination.
- From South: take C5.
- From Port Area:
Route 1: All trucks (Class 3 vehicles) to FTI take Bicutan Exit to destination. Route 2- All trucks (Class 3 vehicles) to FTI take A. Bonifacio, Mindanao Avenue, to C5, left to East Service Road to destination.
