Despite the floods that affected several areas in Metro Manila due to heavy rain since Monday night, the number coding scheme is not suspended, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

In an advisory posted on its Twitter account, the MMDA said the number coding scheme will still be implemented for the day.

"Number coding is still implemented today, July 03, 2012," it said.

Heavy rain since Monday night had caused floods in many areas of Metro Manila, prompting many local government units there to suspend classes in the afternoon.
