Walang pasok: Classes suspended Aug 13 in Marikina, Hagonoy, and some schools in NCR
(Updated August 13; 10:00 a.m.) - Despite the improved weather, classes in the city of Marikina and Hagonoy, Bulacan as well as some schools in Metro Manila will be suspended on Monday, August 13.
"[Marikina City Mayor Del De Guzman ordered] no classes in all public schools, preschool to high school, and PLMar [Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina] tomorrow. Classes resume on Tuesday," the Marikina city government said. In Quezon City, classes resumed except in Benigno Aquino High School or as advised by the school, according to a report on Unang Hirit. In Manila, classes were suspended at Saint Jude College due to brownout, according to a report on News to Go.
Meanwhile, according to the Department of Education's Twitter account, Hagonoy, Bulacan also suspended Monday's classes, from kindergarten to high school, in both public and private schools. In Meycauayan West, Bulacan, classes were suspended in Barangays Longos and Zamora, DepEd also said. Classes resumed in other barangays in Meycauayan West. In Valenzuela City, however, classes in all levels will resume Monday. In Rosario, Cavite, afternoon classes from preschool to college in both public and private schools were suspended, a report on dzBB said.

Also, La Immaculada Concepcion School in Pasig announced that kindergarten to Grade 5 Monday classes are suspended. Grade 6 to high school classes, meanwhile, will resume August 13, Monday.
Classes were also suspended in Shining Christian Movers Academy in Palatiw, Pasig from preschool to Grade 6 according to Sol Cruz-Mendoza, school administrator.
In Malabon, classes were suspended in Dampalit Elementary School.
In Angono, Rizal, classes were suspended in Angono Elementary School, Angono National High School, Joaquin Guido Elementary School, San Vicente Elementary School, Doña Justaguido Elementary School, Ginger Grace Academe, and Marrieve of Light School. In San Mateo, Rizal, classes were suspended in Central Elementary School, Doña Pepeng Elementary School, and Mali Elementary School, according to a report on News to Go. Classes were also suspended for all levels in Harvester's Mission International School in Calumpit, Bulacan, the report on News to Go also said.
