MMDA: Human body parts found near MRT station

Police in Makati City are now investigating human body parts left near a Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station there Sunday morning. Charlie Nozares of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) cited initial information that the body parts were found near the MRT Guadalupe station. “Positive ang SOCO [Scene of the Crime Operations personnel] sa Guadalupe MRT, sa ilalim sa EDSA mismo,” he said in an interview on dzBB radio. He said it was not immediately clear if the body parts were those of a male or a female. Nozares said police are also trying to determine the circumstances behind the killing. — BM, GMA News
