Baby girl born on LRT coach named 'Luzvy'

The baby girl born aboard a Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 coach last Sunday now has a name – Luzvy.

 

LRT Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera disclosed this Monday afternoon on Twitter, following questions from followers on the baby's name.

 

On Sunday, Cabrera said a female passenger gave birth aboard an LRT-1 coach at about 2:25 p.m. The train was approaching the Vito Cruz station at the time.

 

He said the baby and mother were rushed to the Philippine General Hospital, and were in good condition.

 

It was the third baby born aboard an LRT coach or in an LRT station so far this year.

 

Only last September 14, a woman gave birth to a baby at the platform of the LRT Line 1's Central Station in Manila. This baby was named Jeb, with the mother and baby brought to the Fabella Hospital.

 

Cabrera said another girl born earlier this year was named Lilibeth. — DVM, GMA News
