3 FEU students shot in front of their school, two die at hospital
Three students of Far Eastern University in the University Belt in Manila were shot in front of their school, two of them fatally, by motorcycle-riding men Tuesday night. Police are trying to find leads on the motive behind the shooting of the three past 7 p.m. Tuesday, radio dzBB reported early Wednesday. Killed were Juan Paulo Nepomuceno and Gerald Martin Ramos, who were rushed to the University of Santo Tomas Hospital for treatment but succumbed to their wounds. A third victim, Adrian Joseph Santiago, is now recovering at the Mary Chiles Hospital. A separate report on "Saksi" Tuesday night quoted witnesses who said they saw the victims walking toward R. Papa Street when they were shot. The report said the three victims wore shirts with the logo of the FEU Drums and Bugles team. Vendors in the area claimed they did not see what happened, as the street lights were not working. — ELR, GMA News
