Fire breaks out in restaurant in Pasay mall

Fire broke out at a restaurant in the bayside area of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on Saturday just before noon. The firefighters quickly responded, with some climbing up the roof of the Buffet 101 International Cuisine restaurant to work their way into the restaurant. Electricity supply to the bayside area was cut because of the incident. Security personnel set a perimeter cordon to keep onlookers at a safe distance away from the fire and give firefighters room to work. Among the onlookers were staff of the restaurant who told GMA News Online that their senior personnel were coordinating with the firefighters.
