One soldier slightly injured in fire at Army office in Fort Bonifacio
A fire of undetermined origin razed an office of the Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City before dawn Sunday.
At least one soldier suffered slight injuries while trying to fight the fire, the report said.
The fire started at 12:24 a.m. at the Army's Supply and Support Command office, according to a report on dzBB radio.
It reached the second alarm before firefighters put it out at 1:08 a.m., the report said.
Damaged in the fire were records and office supplies, it added.
Arson investigators initially estimated the damage to property at P1 million, even as they are still looking into what caused the fire. — ELR, GMA News
