Teen dies after falling 9 stories from Mandaluyong building

Police are investigating the death of a male teen who allegedly jumped from his ninth-floor unit at a building in Mandaluyong City early Monday morning. The fatality was initially identified as Luke Daryl Santos, 19, who fell from the ninth floor of the GA Tower along EDSA in Mandaluyong City, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported. Santos' body landed on the canopy of the building, the report said. Police investigators are trying to verify that the victim was suffering from depression due to "personal problems" at home. The investigation so far showed that Santos arrived at the building with his friend Brian de Mesa about 4:30 a.m. De Mesa noticed that Santos was restless.
