Fire along Sct Borromeo, QC elevated to Task Force Bravo

(Updated 1:34 a.m.) Radio dzBB reported early Thursday morning that a fire along Scout Brorromeo Street in Quezon City razed several homes, while the Metro Manila Development Authority reported on Fire Update: As of 1:00 AM, Scout Borromeo, Tomas Morato, Quezon City involving residential area now on Task Force Bravo. #mmda— Official MMDA (@MMDA) February 20, 2013 ">Twitter that the fire alarm was elevated to Task Force Bravo. According an initial report, the fire started in a residential area at around 12:30 a.m. Firefighters first had to put out the flames at the perimeter of the lot of shanty homes at the intersection of Scout Borromeo and Scout Torillo. They then gradually hosed their way toward the interior of the lot where the fire consumed a few homes three to four storeys high.  There were no initial reports of injuries. —  DVM/ELR, GMA News
