Pampanga board member, aide hurt in QC road accident

A Pampanga provincial board member and his aide were injured after figuring in a freak road accident in Quezon City Tuesday night. Board member Raul Macalino (third district) and aide Albert Parungao were injured in the accident along Mindanao Avenue in Barangay Bahay Toro, radio dzBB reported Wednesday. Initial investigation showed that whoever was driving the board member's sport-utility vehicle lost control as they were driving southwards. They crashed into a concrete barrier, then crossed over to the northbound part of the road. The vehicle hit a portion of an apartment where it finally came to a stop. — DVM, GMA News
