2 suspected Chinese drug lords recaptured in San Juan

Two suspected Chinese drug lords who were sprung from jail last February by a notorious robbery-holdup gang in Cavite were recaptured in San Juan City before dawn Saturday.

 

Police arrested Lee Lan Yan a.k.a. Jackson Dy and Li Tian Hua in Little Baguio in San Juan City at about 1 a.m., radio dzBB reported.

 

The police suspect Ozamis Gang members of the February jailbreak in Trece Martires City in Cavite.

 

To recapture the two alleged drug lords, operatives of the Philippine National Police's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group worked with the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

 

CIDG head Chief Superintendent Francisco Uyami Jr. said they spent one month conducting surveillance on the escaped drug lords.

 

Uyami said they are now conducting follow-up operations to capture the third suspected drug lord, identified as Wang Li Na.  —  ELR, GMA News
