MMDA lifts number coding, bus firms cancel some trips amid bad weather
Amid bad weather conditions, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Tuesday lifted the number coding scheme for the day.
The heavy monsoon rain and floods also forced some bus companies to cancel some trips as floods affected some terminals in Metro Manila and the provinces.

Earlier Tuesday, the MMDA had maintained the number coding was in effect.
The number coding aims to lessen the number of vehicles in the metropolis by barring vehicles from major thoroughfares from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For Tuesday, vehicles that would have been covered by the ban include those with license plate numbers ending in 3 and 4.
Bus firms cancel some trips
Meanwhile, some bus firms canceled trips to the provinces due to the rain and floods.
Victory Liner said it temporarily had to suspend trips at its Pasay City terminal due to floods.
"We will wait for the Edsa Baclaran rotonda flood to subside before we resume dispatching trips from PASAY terminal. Will update you," it said.
As of 7:12 a.m., it said it temporarily suspended trips from Balanga terminal in Bataan.
"Flash flood at Samal and Balanga junction. Let's wait for it to subside," it said.
It also said Dinalupihan in Bataan was not passable, forcing it to divert trips to and from Balanga via Palihan and Subic Cavite Tarlac Expressway.
Also, it noted a landslide near Roosevelt in Bataan prompted its buses to pass via SCTEX, Tipo, and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.
The company said that while it has trips to Pampanga, these are not going to Lubao or Bacolor.
Also, it said it has trips to Olongapo but with decreased frequency and via SCTEX.
