MMDA: Expect traffic congestion at España due to UST entrance exam
Traffic along España Boulevard in Manila may be congested Sunday due to the entrance examinations of the University of Santo Tomas, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.
In an advisory posted on its Twitter account, the MMDA said the UST Entrance Test (USTET) had been scheduled for the day.
"ADVISORY: USTET will be held today (September 1, 2013) at UST España, Manila. Expect traffic congestion along España Blvd.," it said.
Last Aug. 21, the UST rescheduled its entrance test from Aug. 25 to Sept. 1, amid heavy monsoon rain and floods that affected Metro Manila at the time.
In an announcement posted on its social network site, UST said this is to "allow everyone time to recover" from the effects of monsoon rain that spawned floods that swamped several parts of Luzon.
