DepEd: Preschool, daycare classes suspended in Valenzuela

Preschool and daycare classes are suspended in Valenzuela City on Friday, the Department of Education said.

 

In a post on its Twitter account, the DepEd referred to a post by Rep. Sherwin Gatchalian.

 

"Classes in pre-school and day care are suspended today, Oct. 11," the DepEd said.

 

Gatchalian, in his tweet, noted preschool and daycare classes are "automatically suspended" during Signal No. 1.

 

Metro Manila was one of 24 areas placed under Storm Signal No. 1 as of Thursday night. At least three other areas were placed under Storm Signal No. 2.

 

"As of 11 p.m. PAGASA weather update, NCR is now storm signal no. 1. Classes in PRE-SCHOOL and DAY CARE are automatically suspended for (Friday)," Gatchalian said.  — ELR, GMA News
