100 families lose homes in Malabon fire

At least 100 families lost their homes in a fire that razed a residential area in Malabon City Monday morning. The fire reached the fifth alarm and razed several houses made of light materials in Tinajeros village, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported. No one was reported injured in the fire, but 50 houses burned down. Initial investigation showed the fire started shortly after 9 a.m. Arson investigators are verifying information that a liquefied-petroleum-gas-tank explosion was heard before the fire started. — DVM, GMA News
