Robinsons Galleria to stay shut for two days after fire

Shopping mall Robinsons Galleria will be closed for two days to give way for cleaners to do their job and and for management to check affected areas in the aftermath of a fire that gutted the area near the toys section on the third floor, operator Robinsons Land Corp. said Wednesday.

 

"Robinsons Galleria Mall will be closed to the public today and tomorrow, October 31," Robinsons Land Corp. corporate public relations manager RoseAnn Villegas noted in a text message to reporters.

 

The mall will reopen 12 noon, November 1, she added.

 

The fire late Tuesday raged on to hit the fifth alarm level before dawn Wednesday. It was declared under control at 4 a.m. before a fire out status was issued at 5:46 a.m., radio dzBB reported. – Danessa Rivera/VS, GMA News
