Corpse of brutalized victim found near Mandaluyong condo

Police are investigating the killing of a man whose brutalized body was found near a condominium unit in Mandaluyong City before dawn Monday.

The victim was described as a male, and five to 5'3" tall, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.

Investigators said the body was found near a condominium building at the corner of Pines and Sheridan Streets in Barangay Highway Hills.

Found near the body was a shell casing from a still undetermined caliber of gun.

According to investigators, the victim's head was wrapped in a plastic bag and tied with masking tape. A length of wire was also wrapped around his neck.
