Map of Black Nazarene procession route


Thursday's procession marking the Feast of the Black Nazarene will take 10-12 hours following a new route to Quiapo Church from the Luneta. Instead of MacArthur Bridge which reportedly has safety issues, the procession will pass through Jones Bridge, it was earlier announced.

According to the Quiapo Church website, the route for this year's procession will start at the Quirino Grandstand (Luneta). It will turn left on Katigbak Drive through Padre Burgos, then left on Taft Avenue through Jones Bridge, turn right on Escolta.

In Sta. Cruz Church, the procession will turn left to Carlos Palanca St. through under Quezon Bridge, then turn left to Quezon Blvd., right to Arlegui, right to Fraternal, right to Vergara, left to Duque de Alba, left to Castillejos, left to Farnecio, right to Arlegui, left to Nepomuceno, left to Aguila, right to Carcer, right to Hidalgo through Plaza Del Carmen, left to Bilibid Viejo through Puyat, left to Guzman, right to Hidalgo, left to Barbosa, right to Globo de Oro through under Quezon Bridge, right to Palanca, and then right to Villalobos through Plaza Miranda.
