Traffic snarled on España Blvd as militant workers march to Mendiola
Morning traffic along España Boulevard in Manila was snarled Thursday as militant workers marched from the Mabuhay Rotonda at the boundary of Manila and Quezon City to Mendiola Bridge near Malacañang.
Several workers from the Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino and Sanlakas started their march at 9 a.m., radio dzBB's Allan Gatus reported.
Photos posted by dzBB's Gatus on Twitter showed the workers wearing red, carrying banners calling for better working conditions, marching at the Mendiola-bound part of España Boulevard.
