MMDA: 2 QC roads closed for Iglesia Ni Cristo event starting 6 a.m. Friday

Motorists may have to avoid at least two roads in Quezon City starting 6 a.m. Friday, due to an event of the Iglesia ni Cristo.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Thursday afternoon issued an advisory that the road closures will take effect from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the "Lingap Pamamahayag" of the Iglesia ni Cristo at Amoranto Sports Complex.

Closed during this time are:
- Scout Reyes from Roces Avenue to Scout Chuatoco
- Scout Chuatoco from corner Scout Reyes to Pegasus
Earlier, the Quezon City government announced that a portion of Chuatoco Street from Mother Ignacia to Scout Reyes will be open only to one-way traffic.
It said its Department of Public Order and Safety designated parking areas at:
- Scout Chuatoco from Scout Reyes to Scout Tobias
- Mother Ignacia Street from Roces Avenues to Scout Fernandez
- Scout Tobias from Scout Chuatoco to Scout Borromeo
One-side parking shall be allowed along Roces Avenue from Mother Ignacia to Scout Tuazon.
