Accusers confront Vhong Navarro after hearing on rape complaint
Actor Vhong Navarro was confronted Monday by family members and other alleged victims of rape after he attended the preliminary investigation into a rape complaint filed against him, according to a report aired over GMA News TV's "Balitanghali" on Thursday.
"Vhong, sagutin mo ang ginawa mo sa akin," an angry Roxanne Cabanero told Navarro after the hearing.
Cabanero also hurled her sunglasses at Navarro but the actor was not hit, since he was surrounded by security.
The grandmother of Deniece Cornejo — who has also accused the actor of rape — was also at the hearing, and shouted at Navarro, calling him a rapist.
Another family member of an alleged rape victim showed up at the hearing, wearing a shirt that said “justice for rape victims, jail the serial rapist.”
Navarro made no comment on the allegations against him.
The preliminary investigation on Thursday was on a rape complaint filed by a stuntwoman who once worked with him. That case has been submitted for resolution. — Patricia Denise Chiu/GMA News
