MMDA: Traffic rerouting at Pasig Fri-Sat for Flores de Mayo parade

Motorists and commuters passing through some major roads in Pasig City may have to prepare to take alternate routes on Friday and Saturday due to Flores de Mayo processions there.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said Friday's procession will be held at Pasig Catholic College while Saturday's will be at Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral.

On Friday, heavy traffic may start at 5 p.m. on the following roads:

• Caruncho Ave. (in front of Pasig City Hall)
• Plaza Rizal Intersection
• M.H. Del Pilar St. (Sagad)
• E. Angeles St. (from corner of M.H. Del Pilar up to Sto. Tomas)
• Dr. Pilapil St. (Sagad)
• Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave. (Sagad)
• A. Mabini St. (Kapasigan)
• Dr. Maldo St.

Traffic will be rerouted, with vehicles going to Rotonda from Pasig Mega Market taking the following directions:

• Take F. Manalo St., left to E. Angeles St., left to C. Raymundo Ave., to destination; or
• Take Market Ave., left to Mercedez Ave., left to C. Raymundo Ave., to destination

Vehicles going to San Joaquin / Bagumbayan from Pasig Mega Market:

• Take Balderrama St., right to F. Antonio St., left to Pio Alvarez St., to cross Kalawaan Br., right to Elisco Road, to destination

Vehicles going to Pasig Mega Market from San Joaquin or Bagumbayan:

• Take Elisco Road, left to M. Jimenez St., to cross Kalawaan Br., left to F. Antonio St., right to F. Manalo St., right to Caruncho Ave., to destination; or
