Madam Auring’s grandson hurt as AUV-riding thieves snatch his bag

A grandson of fortune teller Madam Auring was injured after thieves snatched his shoulder bag in Novaliches, Quezon City, a report from GMA's “24-Oras” said Tuesday.

Daryl Simon Pecson said he was walking in the Sangandaan area on Sunday when a suspect in the passenger's side of a blue Toyota Revo grabbed his shoulder bag.

He tried to thwart the suspects by opening the right front door but fell face first on the road, the report said.

“Nanlaban po ako. Tapos binuksan ko po 'yung pintuan ng sasakyan. Pilit ko hinatak 'yung lalaki sa passenger's seat. Nabitawan ko 'yung bag ko tapos nakaladkad ako,” Pecson recalled.

He suffered a broken jaw, teeth and multiple wounds on different parts of his body.

He was able to identify the plate number but when authorities ran it through records it showed that the said plate was registered to a Honda CRV and not a Toyota Revo.

Police are still investigating the incident. -Andrei Medina/NB, GMA News
